LET GOOD TAKE FLIGHT CAMPAIGN

                 ON MAY 16, 2018 AMERICAN AIRLINES CELEBRATED ITS 50 YEAR SALES CONFERENCE WITH GLOBAL BUSINESS TRAVEL BY LAUNCHING THE LET GOOD TAKE FLIGHT CAMPAIGN. THE CAMPAIGN WAS CREATED BY TWO AMERICAN AIRLINES EMPLOYEES, ANISHA BROWN FROM NEW YORK AND HELEN DAVIES FROM MIAMI. THE MAIN CAMPAIGN EVENT WAS HOSTED AT THE EPIC HOTEL IN MIAMI WITH OVER 300 GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE. THE CAMPAIGN WAS ABLE TO DONATE BACK PACKS THAT WERE FILLED WITH TOILETRIES, TOYS, SWEATSHIRTS,SOCKS,TOWELS,BOOKS AND BLANKETS. ALL ITEMS WERE PACKAGED BY THE ATTENDEES PARTICIPATING IN THE CONFERENCE,

                     BRINGING A REAL SENSE OF COMMUNITY GIVING TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED. THE DONATIONS WERE GIVEN TO THE CHILDREN’S HOME SOCIETY OF MIAMI (“CHS”). CHS PROVIDES HOUSING TO OVER 1800 CHILDREN IN THE LOCAL MIAMI FOSTER CARE SYSTEM. GEORGINA FELIX PRESIDENT OF CWA 3140 PARTNERED UP WITH THE CAMPAIGN AND DONATED DIAPER BAGS FILLED WITH INFANT NECESSITIES. THE DIAPER BAGS WERE DELIVERED TO CHS’ HOME FOR UNWED MOTHER’S ON MOTHER’S DAY, BRINGING MANY SMILES AND LOTS OF JOY TO THESE MOMS, MANY OF WHICH WERE CELEBRATING THEIR FIRST MOTHER’S DAY.
